In 2025, Kazakhstan's labor market developed against a backdrop of economic growth and active investments in industry and infrastructure. This directly impacted the structure of personnel demand and salary levels, reports the recruiting company LavoroSolutions.
According to LavoroSolutions, the largest share of recruitment requests was for the sales function — accounting for about one-third of all vacancies. Companies actively sought sales managers, driven by increased output and the need to strengthen commercial teams. In second place were financial functions, primarily accountants, ensuring the financial stability of businesses. Among medical specialties, medical representatives were the most in-demand, reflecting the growth of the pharmaceutical market.

“A notable trend in 2025 was the increase in salary offers. According to our internal database, the average offered salary was 765,000 tenge. The increase ranged from 10-25% depending on the company’s field of activity. Employers are increasingly competing for qualified specialists by offering more attractive conditions,” comments Anastasiya Kim, Head of Recruitment at LavoroSolutions. “At the same time, challenges such as the mismatch between supply and demand in the labor market persist in 2026. In such cases, as a recruitment company, we maintain an ongoing dialogue with our client employers. Lavoro consultants provide analytics in the form of salary surveys and Talent Mapping when necessary.”
“The industry breakdown confirms the link between the labor market and economic dynamics. According to the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan, the industrial production index for 2025 reached 7.4%, and manufacturing industry grew by 6.4%. Active hiring was carried out by pharmaceutical companies, food and beverage manufacturers, as well as mechanical engineering enterprises — mainly due to capacity expansion and investment projects,” provides data Ilona Platonova, Analytics Manager at the recruiting company LavoroSolutions.
The transportation and warehousing industry deserves special attention. According to the Bureau, its growth amounted to 20.4%, and the number of vacancies, according to Lavoro’s observations, doubled compared to 2024.

“Specialists who are ready to work in a dynamic environment, master new tools, and be flexible in their employment format remain in demand. The fully remote work format is becoming a thing of the past; the hybrid schedule is more relevant today. If you are willing to commute to the office 3-4 times a week, you will bypass 50% of candidates who only want a home office. Be proactive. Write directly to HR and recruiters, attend networking breakfasts, and update your LinkedIn profile,” says Anastasiya Kim.
